You do not get hosed by Paul on this one, I have a few of these devices connect to the port fabric tools to the hose vacuum. Funny how there are standard sizes for collecting dust and vacuum hoses, but each agent seems to have a dust collection port that is in a strange format. Nothing fits. This adapter is unique among the dimensions of tools and standard hose. You can easily cut this adapter to both an inside diameter or outside diameter of the adapter fits. I have a business VAC, which has 2 tubes of various sizes that did not fit the discharge ON MY SANDER, 'it was not an adaptation to solve this problem, so I found the adapter at my local shop to customize it to SANDER CUT , it has put in my shop VAC hose pipe STAY hours SANDER for all different types / HEIGHTS grinding. One major problem solved this INSTRUMENT TO KEEP dust into my job. From Grumpy FYI this does not work with Ryobi tablesaws that has a tube output exactly the same diameter as the large end. This should be called the almost universal vacuum adapter One reason: Ryobi, RIDGID, Husky and other tools and cleaners store. Please make a frickin standard size and include relevant adapters with your tools, particularly a male to male and female to female I'm tired of running back and forth to buy adapters all the time and then having to make my own with plumbing parts, string, jello and duct tape.
