The box was intact. Part of the structure of metal was removed from the bottom of the table with the screw holes removed. I knew anyway, and found that the metal fences that the wooden fence in front of Associate seriously out of parallel. Amazon Exchage procedure worked very well and had a substitution table in no time. However, he had the same problem with a damaged structure, and the fences were a little out of parallel. He suggested that customers must have a bad batch of them, and suggested I just get a refund, which I did. So I bought the same table at Lowes, which is home to find that missing piece that mounts on the router. I have a second Lowes. His parallel problems, and the table was not completely flat, so I could not level the router plate to the table of four had broken the shackles of cable in the box. By Peter Hughes Yes, the fence big ... but put the plate is plastic. Mine broke on me after an hour use. I doubt that a plastic plate and a table of fiber can always be done with precision and reliability with a very flat work surface with a perfectly smooth transition from the plate to the table. Freud deserves credit for excellent customer service: I had a man on the phone within a minute and send me a new dish for free. (Besides I do not really introduction or table.) I'm very tempted to remove the fence and build a table for ... b but then I lost $ 90 because I could only be bought for about $ 109 and I have my own inserts, that's really hurt, do not forget to install a miter track, etc. .. all that is what I wanted to prevent in the first place. I'm also still at $ 90. So I give this item 4 stars, despite the dubious table for about Freud and excellent customer service department is very responsive. Excellent router table by Y. Cho Forget all previous reviews of cheap plastic sheet sag. Freud replaced with aluminum plate and all the problems disappeared. It's easy to record level with eight screws. Mounting is very easy with good instructions. It took less than one hour. Freud uses the same black box that shows the plastic, but aluminum plates was again included Read the description on the box "New aluminum plate included $ 50." I like the fence system and the table is very sturdy and stable. It 'easy to get around in my samll study and had no problems in making cabinet doors. The bad thing is the new aluminum plate is not pre-mounting holes, even for Freud router. In addition to this, it is a really good router table with a portable fence system excellent.
